Supply of LPG Cylinders

The Petroleum Company of Jamaica Limited, (PETCOM) invites tenders from suppliers, for the supply of LPG Cylinders for the year 2010.

v  25lbs    or  11.4kg cylinders

v  30lbs   or  13.5kg cylinders

All cylinders manufactured for PETCOM must meet the requirements of the Jamaica Specification for Transportable Gas Containers JS 25:1992

• Registered with the National Contracts Commission in the LPG field.

• Possession of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
• A Tender Bond of 1% of the total bid

Tender documents will be available as of Wednesday March 17, 2010 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm and may be collected at the front desk in the Main Lobby, at the Petroleum Company of Jamaica, 695 Spanish Town Road Kingston 11, Jamaica, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$2000.00) or Twenty Three United States Dollars (US23.00) made payable in cash or manager’s cheque. Submissions of Tender Documents shall be in English and must be received in a sealed envelope clearly marked “LPG CYLINDER SUPPLY (2010). Tender Documents must be dropped in the tender box provided in the lobby or delivered by registered mail / Courier at the address below not later than 3:00pm on Friday April 9^th 2010.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the address below at 3:15pm (local time) on Friday, April 9^th 2010.
