The Company’s strategic human resource "Excellence Programme" introduced in 2000, is designed to support each employee in achieving maximum performance in a ‘job fit’ exercise, with the overall objective of creating an excellence-oriented organization. In addition, the programme is geared towards building on employee’s experience and expertise as well as their knowledge of the Petroleum Industry in order to ensure quality output. At the heart of the Excellence Programme is a structured compensation and performance incentive and reward package, matched to a continuous job evaluation exercise. The programme is supported by ongoing and comprehensive upgrading of the Company’s employees, each of whom is being exposed to a minimum of one week of training per year, to enhance their capabilities and strengthen on-the-job performance. We believe that a skilled, disciplined and experienced workforce, that is prepared to adapt to the changing work environment, is critical in driving Petrojam’s future development.
